On our Chaparral 320/330 the cowlings on the port and starboad side covering the air intake and exhaust openings has started to seperate from the the hull (they are plastic) but they are still secured to the hull. Has anyone had this problem on any make of boat and if so what was the solution. The only thing I can think of doing is to put white marine chalking in the spaces which are about 1/2" wide x 6" long. Any help will be appreciated
