Amityville man illegally fueled boats from truck

It's legal to overnight for free in an RV at many WalMart stores. Sometimes, not, though, usually where there are several commercial RV parks nearby...

It is not illegal, we have a member here "direct marine fuel" that does this. My guess, he did not have the permits and or licenses to do this as well as the insurance needed. In other words, a "schmuck in a truck" not doing it legally. You would think, with the warnings he received he would of got it together and either stopped or got the proper permits to do this.

Walt, He's totally legal. HAs won every Court battle and Nassau continues to harass him .

Nice to see our tax dollars at work . I wonder how much it will cost the county tax payers when Gene sues

And he should SUE . Wonder why they are only going after him ?

Rob

It is hard to SUE when you're a small business, money, money and time, guess Nassau knows that and are looking to "break him"

"Wonder why they are only going after him ?" You know why, at least I think you do! Someone has a reason to stop him (competitor or marina) contributes or is friends with such that have the power to break his chops. Nassau County is the king of corruption, second to Suffolk County. Suffolk would be right up there with Nassau, but Nassau has been doing this longer and hence more experience. This opinion is based on and I believe you Rob, that he is "totally legal".
