Can anybody recommend a good spot to drop the hook at Fire Island if all the slips are taken when we go?
We are planning to spend the first half of July 4th week at Zachs Bay, leaving for Fire Island Wednesday the 5th.
Last time we anchored off Ocean Bay Park the water taxis & ferrys created so much wake and noise we didn't really get a restful sleep.
