Angel Island mooring

Does anyone know if the mooring buoys at Ayala Cove have a line attached or just the ring.
Also, how close can you get to the buoy without getting in trouble with the props?
Did anyone ever used them during the day just for a few hours when the docks are full?

With all the traffic on this site lately, am surprised the internet has not crashed yet!

Perhaps try contacting Kim Haworth through the Bay & Delta Yachtsman website. She lives aboard on the bay and seems to know everything about it.

In the past it was just a ring. The happy hooker boat pole attachment was a big help. Lines were done for and aft to two buoys in the past
