Anyone had any experience with making repairs to awlgrip painted surfaces. I have two issues. One is a small (3"x1/2") dulled surface where my hull made very gentle contact with a wood dock. This is basically an abrasion to the paint and did not go through to the primer. The other is a very small scratch that is about 3/4" long and about 1/8" wide. This one is deeper and is through to the primer but not through to the old gelcoat.
I understand that Awlgrip is not a very repairable surface, and can not be sanded/feathered, and buffed like gelcoat. I am contacting the people that applied the paint job, but would love to hear if anyone has any input.
