It's a shorter walk to there from PBM then the walk from silver dock to The Water Club! And coming home after a "few" drinks you don't have to worry about falling into deep water and drowning. ;)

Excellent point. Now I know why the ggod folks from PBM dont want to move to HM. When they fall in they simply walk to shore. :)

No...when we fall in we are hip deep in muck and call Sea Tow.

My wheels will never sit in mud at my slip again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that counts for 8 points

I think the most consistent food is at Fireside. We have been going there for 15 years before and after they were sold and can count on one hand with only two fingers of having a meal that was not good or needed to be replaced.

When it comes to burgers. I make the best burger and it is something I do not go out to dinner for.

I alway enjoy sitting outside with a water view, it make your meal more enjoyable.

With regards to Hudson Water Club, we have eaten there about 10-12 times and in the past 2 years the food has been very good at least when we were there. I would not eat there all the time due to the prices however it is a very nice resturant.

I like Fireside as well. Also like the 76 House in Tappan. Been going there over 30 years and among my favorites in Rockland. If I want a pretty darn good seafood meal not too far I head down to the Crab House in Weehawken, also one of my favorite restaurants. If I want an very good seafood meal there are too many to count when I head down the shore.

The 76 House is great but not exactly a boating stop.

Best burger around was the Cannonballer at SPBM about two or three restaurant owners ago. It was amazing. I used to bring friends there as they all asked to come back. Bob, since you claim yours are the best, put one on the grill for me at Bowline next weekend. Medium Rare please.

Funny how the simplest of meals...a burger....is often the hardest to find a place that makes a good one

Hank,
Not a problem. As soon as we have some better weather, hopefully next week, your order will be fulfilled.

We went to the Water Club last night with Wayne and Thomas and enjoy a great meal. I notice that they have change their menu from last year. Thomas and Ethan both loved the home made New England Clam chowder with tons of clams. Although the weather was not the greatest, the resturant was packed full and people were waiting for tables.
