Trying to do the donzi myself this year. already got one side done with rubbing compound and polishing compound. trying to decide best wax to use to seal it. blue hull, any recommendations?

Don't use wax. Use a synthetic polymer sealant. Many to chose from.

I have been using synthetic sealant for years this year The last two years I started using wax above the rub rail I found I held up better in the sun however bellow the Rejex worked well, this year I'm rolling the dice I switched back to wax I found it to be much easier to use a cleaner wax then buff magic the entire boat and then seal. I only decided to do this today and frankly I very happy at the moment I will have to see how well it holds up to know if I made the right call.

Try Zaino. Apply multiple coats, very easy to do, for a deeper gloss.

I was happy with Rejex it worked well but you have to start with a clean hull which is why this year I used a one step cleaner wax. If it doesn't hold up then next year I will use Buff magic on the entire boat and use Rejex again.
