Best way to remove unknown stain of seats

As a start, my wife cleans the seats every week with soapy water and then we use 303. The boat is relatively new and the seats are PERFECT.

Yesterday, we notice a "blue" dirt mark on the seat, no problem...soapy water to the rescue.

Well, needless to say...it did not touch it. We tried, magic eraser, starbrite vinyl shampoo, another vinyl cleaner, pure soap, etc. Nothing touched this stain.

Guess we should mention the seats are white and it really shows. It is about the size of a half dollar...and we hav NO Idea what it is?

Any ideas on what I can try to remove this stubborn and unknown stain?

Leave it out in the strong sunlight and see if the sun can bleach it out.

Sometimes that works.
 
If it's plain white vinyl (PVC); not printed, I would soak a paper towel in straight bleach & let it sit on stain. Just keep away from seams. Could weaken threads.
 
Yep, I think it is straight white....bleach came to mind, but I was afraid it might "change" the color and make it worse.
 
I dampen the area and sprinkle Bon Ami on it. Cover with a damp rag or paper towel and let it sit for an hour or so. Add more water and gently scrub the area with the Bon Ami solution. Thoroughly rinse...very thoroughly rinse! Should be ok now. Protect with 3M as usual.
 
toofast, if your fearful of possible color change (it shouldn't); can you test on underside or portion of cushion that's not visible ?
 
Since the seats are hinged, it is difficult to find an area that will not show...also I did try a magic eraser first...and the stain just laughed at it.
 
toofast, since seats are hinged it may be worth it to take them off hinge & test on non visible area. I still don't think vinyl w/b affected.
 
I will try a few of the suggestions this weekend...I would love if the Tilex did the trick. More shortly!
 
Second the Bonami. I've gotten dried red wine out of pourous counter tops with it.

Seriously, try the Bonami.
 
I had a stain on one of my seats never get out. I tried everything listed above.
Last year someone bought me one of these vibrating cleaners you see on tv.
Its just a big electric toothbrush....but it worked. It comes with brushes of varying stiffness and now I use it all the time.
 
Yep, well nothing worked for me either. Tried everything...except sitting in the sun, as we no longer have sun in the Midwest.

What is this vibrating cleaner? Never seen one of those...at least I don't think I have.
 
You can pick them up at target. It literally looks like a big electric toothbrush. It is called Sonic Scrubber.
I was looking over the last few posts and you never think the words trojan, stiffness and vibrate would have something to do with cleaning boat upholstery.
