This weekend, Allen (Delivering Happiness) hosted a raft-up and BBQ at Bowline. He cooked for about six hours on Saturday (burgers, dogs, chicken, sausage, peppers...) and again for few hours in the drizzle on Sunday.

We had 17 boats rafted up, 11 stayed overnight. Saturday's weather could not have been better. Plenty of food, drinks, meeting new friends and hanging in the water.

Allen truly "delivered happiness" to all who were fortunate to attend. Thanks Allen!!! Looking forward to the next one! Everyone truly had a fantastic time.

We overloaded the 8 person float with 16 of us, pastries were flying and drinks were "rivered". I laughed so hard, my sides were sore.

It was surprising that on such a gorgeous day, so few other boats were out.

Couldn't agree more. Great Job Allen, and a big Thank You! for putting it together and supplying and cooking all that food.

So what time are you going to start the BBQ this Saturday? :)
 
Allen move the date to Sunday since Saturday we have tickets to go to a ball game..... :--)))
 
you guys are too Funny.
It worked out so well, so happy everybody had a good time and Mike I owe you a re-fill on the propane tank. I thought 4 of them will be enough but I way under estimated. Next time I will know that 60 chicken wings, 60 chicken thighs, 72 burgers and over 100 hot dogs, peppers and mushrooms need more than 4 small propane tanks.
it was nice to meet ForShow and other some boaters.
My friend John who joined us for the first time with his boat was shocked with all the water toys and boat toys some of us have.
just glad it all worked out.

My only disappointment was I couldn't spend the night! We had a great time and already look forward to next years raftup:)
