Hi all,

As some of you may remember, last year I took our (then) 23 year old Chap that hadn't been much cared for gelcoat-wise (was VERY chalky/oxidized) and brought it back to a shine I was extremely happy with. I ended up wet sanding it with 3 different grits, then some Megs HO remover, then Buff Magic and then Pro Polish. We're about ready for splash down this year and I'm in the cleaning phase. The shine has held up even better than I had expected and my initial thought was just Buff Magic and Pro Polish this year but then I wondered, is that too much? Is it bad to Buff Magic two years in a row? It's not a super aggressive compound so I think it'll be ok but I wanted to check. During the season, I'll pull it a few times (it's always in water) and do a wash and redo on the Pro Polish but is it ok to start the season with a go 'round of Buff Magic?

thanks!

Cool, thanks! Too bad the rain is coming back but apparently only showers, not the deluge we had there for a while. Boat'll be going in later than I would like but rather it sit in the driveway than sit in the slip unused I guess.
