I have a pressing question that seems to keep coming up and I forget to ask you all about it.
I am in Merrick and have a 34'Silverton ACMY. My draft is 3' and this is the first fly bridge for me. I am so used to cutting through goose creek bridge and keep heading east through that little snake through so I can stay on plane and be in the GSB in minutes.. but I don't know if I can take that chance without running aground with this boat? It would cut alot of time and horse flys off for me if I could go through there with this boat, but I would have to be convinced with a doubt, that I can do it. I wouldn't plane through there either.. because.. well.. what if? There goes my rudders, props and then some.
Please someone tell me if I can make it through there. Would only high tide be a safe bet? Who knows..
