This might seem like a strange question. How do you keep the non skid area of a forward deck clean and also how do you keep it from fading. I have a new 29ft Chaparral with a large non skid bow. I already notice dirt in the groves. Is it possible to wax? Thanks

Buy Aurora Sure Step. It's applied like a wax but makes nonskid LESS SLIPPERY to bare feet when wet. Protects the nonskid also, and makes it easy to clean.

I use Future floor wax, cheap, still non-skid, works good. Lasts about 3 months if just hosed off, no soap.

Tiara recommends Soft n Scrub put on with a stiff brush and that's it. That's all I do. On my Sea Rays the nonskid was not very deep. I waxed that with a wool wheel and kept it at a high shine. It was easy to keep clean with a regular wash using a soft brush. You need good boat shoes when you do this so traction is maintained.

I use 3m deck cleaner and then a thin application of woody wax. Super easy and works great.
