Does anyone know if the gray aluminum dash panels for 1997 Carver 440 are available??

They are not. The company that made them for Carver has gone out of business.

Bruce,

You might want to contact Marine Connection Liquidators in Fort Pierce,FL.

I was able to obtain four different Wellcraft panels that looked brand new. The cost was a fraction of what Wellcraft wanted, since they had to be specially ordered.

The aluminum switch panels on my 3607 are so weathered you can barely read the writing. Yesterday I dropped the panels off at trophy shop. The fellow said he will duplicate them for about $25 each. He is going to use the aluminum colored stuff they make the labels on trophies with. It is kind of flexible stuff and he will use the original plates for backing. I don't know how durable it will be be but I am having a dash cover made so the elements shouldn't be an issue. I'll report back after I get them installed.

If your still looking for ideas? Positron Corp. remade my dash plates (5) out of plastic with a carbon fiber look. They cut the holes, engraved the lettering and only charged me $275. They look great.

Thanks, The electronics installer is using a local paint shop.
