Just heard from a dock mate that the wind was blowing pretty hard at the marina this afternoon. SPBM had some damage to boats and docks. A crew ran around checking and securing boats during the storm.

Thanks to Joe, Rich, Erik and the others.

I got a text as well:) Although Vitoria Secret (Bill) was nice enough to check everyone's lines he even add three for me just before the storm, after receiving that text I ran out there and recheck everyone's lines and had to adjust a few. I got there during the heaviest rain so I was soaked be the time I got back to my car.

I watched Dave from the security of my cabin. It did get a little stressful when my soup got cold.

Thank you to the great people on G dock,
Jim, Ron and Bob, for checking our boats yesterday.

I also would like to thank Ron, Jim and Bob C thanks guys for looking out for our boats.

People need to watch/listen to weather forecasts, this storm was predicted several days ago.

When you hear bad weather is coming, it is the boat owners responsibility to make sure that whatever precautions are necessary are taken. Don't rely on someone else to look after your boat.

Hogan since when are the weathermen right about things?

I don't mind pitching in to help my boat mates. Of course I am always worried if I change some bodies lines and something happens, they will come aft
Er me for damages. This is why I usually do it and don't say anything.

We have a great group of friends at SPBM who always watch out for one another, just a week ago i helped secure some boats when the owners were not around. Nice to know you have dockmates looking out for you.

Word is that there are 3 - 4 sunken boats at SPBM, and several docks severly damaged.

Really? what dock I had not heard this. I feel real bad for the owners unless they are happy about it.

Many thanks for checking on the boats for us. I was glad I left my extra lines on the boat from two weeks ago.

For those that weren't there, it was really kicking in Haverstraw I can only imagine what must have been doing in SPBM. Damage would not surprise me in the least.

SPBM had no problems with dixks only one sailboat. I know patsy had some problems with wave runner docks.

Wasn't bad at all at the channel club. Windy but no damage to any boats. No big deal here, very protected.

I stopped by and no one seemed to know anything about it but this wouldn't surprised me.
