Cutting hole in dash

I need to cut a hole in my dash for a new gauge. My dash has an alluminum cover. Can I use a holesaw? THe alluminum is probably i/8" thick over fiberglass. Thanks.

Greg, you can use a hole saw...just make sure it is sharp and that your mandrel is long enough to hold the saw in place.

Yes. But a wood one should work just fine for thin aluminum over fiberglass.
