Donzi Windshields.....?

Hey all.

Im just about done with my project boat. I am currently modifying a donzi windshield for my 17' boat.

I need to get the glass cut, and my local glass shop told me that if the shield is tempered glass they cannot cut it..

Anyone know if donzi uses tempered glass? and why wouldnt they be able to cut it??

Donzi gets there stuff from Taylor*Made. THey are the ones you need to call.

Glass must be cut and then tempered. Once tempered, it cannot be cut.

Some boats use laminated glass, which can be cut. Some use tempered which cannot be cut. There should be a little etched stamp in the corner of the glass saying that it is tempered.
