I have a 1988 cuddy cabin with an anchor tub in the front that it seems the builder forgot to reinforce on one side. It is now falling down. The one reinforced side is holding it up. There is almost a two inch gap between the tub and hull which will go back in place with some effort. I wanted to know the best way to reinforce the two seperated peices of fiberglass. Will resin soaked mesh attach to cured fiberglass? I cannot use screws at all. If mesh can be attached will it be strong enough to hold this tub if there is some force pulling it away? I do not want to seperate the tub completely.
