foofoo puked on the mattress cover

So we've got a greenish stain we need to get rid off. He must have eaten some grass right before. We also have a couple of water stains.
I thought the dry cleaners would do it, but called and they said they don't do that. Maybe I need to try a different one...
Any suggestions? Should I buy a handheld steam cleaner?
It's a cover that fits tightly around the foam, fabric on top and sides and plastic with zipper on the bottom.

The Admiral tells me that "Cheap" hair spray will remove just about any stubborn stain including grass and ink.

My wife swears by that Oxyclean concentrated spray cleaner she uses - and she's a cleaning guru. She used it to get our foo-foo dog's puke stains off one of our hand knotted, natural dyed wool, expensive-as-all-hell, oriental carpets . . . without any fading or residue. Good stuff.

Use the stuffing from the mattress to stuff FOO FOO Dog..Place FOO FOO on the fireplace mantel...Burn whats left of the mattress in the fireplace.....FOO FOO will be with you for eternity and It will never happen again..
