Looking to pass through the inlet to run to Wildwood tomorrow around 7:45 am (high tide)

I draft about 3' ... Can I just follow the bouys to the whistle bouy????

Will I be looking at a line of breakers that I need to go through?

TIA

Jeff

Jeff,
I went out that inlet when I picked my old regal up in Tuckerton.
BillyIII is the expert here, but here is what I recall.
Getting to the inlet was not well marked, there were sticks with rags on them. Not sure if you will see this the path your taking.
Going out follow buoys, I believe path out heads slightly south, but not too much as there is a shoal there.
Make sure you go all the way out to head buoy before turning south.
Expect breakers going out.

Hope you read this before you went out.
It is shallow in there.
Good luck!

Hey Dave,

I didnt check this before I left because I was able to get the info I needed from a local SeaTow captain but as you noted the trick is to simply follow the red buoys ALL the way to the end (# 2 is shifted north of the line).

10'+ water the whole way out at high tide.

We're down in Wildwood now.

Jeff
