Matching paint colors

I frequently need to match a color and am looking for any suggestions. This time I need to match my radar arch. The maker doesn't seem to be able to help on a 10 YO boat. I could buy a zillion different spray cans and try them but that would just add the ones I already own. I cant carry the arch into the paint store to use their color computer. So how do others solve the problem?

I was told that the Johnson outboard white paint was the same as our carvers color. I repainted my doors to the cabin with it and it matched the arch PERFECT. If you can get a paint chip off the arch, that might help of course.

id remove a screw or other un-noticable spot, and take a "fleck" of it in. that would be the easiest
