Musty and mold smell

We have top of the bow layout cushions that had been wet prior to our purchasing the boat a few years ago. The foam has the black spots of mold and the smell is overpowering. We have in the past removed the foam and sprayed with numerous products, as well as leaving the foam out for an entire winter with little success. Is there anything short of throwing them away that will clean this stuff?

Not that you would want to breath later, should be cheaper to just replace the foam.

There is no way to kill black mold. You can discolor it with bleach, but it will come back. It is bad to breath air around black mold. If you can afford to replace them with new, do it.
