Would like to get some info/feedback for an upcoming long trip. We're going to ferry a boat (50') from Liberty Landing in NY to Norfolk. Expecting to make the trip in mid November. Plan is to travel down the coastline a few miles offshore. Anticipating a 2-3 day trip (~300 nm. and crusing ** 20 kts.).
Would like to get:
a)General prevailing weather along the route this time of year.
b) Some suggested full service marinas for overnight stay and fuel (diesel), along the route, possibly in south Jersey and Maryland.
c) Other marinas along the way if weather turns and we need to get in.
d) Coastal charts (numbers) to supplement the 2 chartplotters on board.
e) Any suggested long term marinas in Norfolk (close to the Navy base).
f) Any other thoughts, suggestions to consider for this trip.
