I would be skeptical of a product that claims one coat per year is enough. You can't even get a complete coverage in one coat. At least two coats are always recommended no matter what the snake oil is.
Another thing that would make me pass on this one is that it seems to be an all for one type solution. That is, it can work on the clear coat of a car/motorcycle or the gel coat of a fiberglass boat. Gel coat and clear coats are different animals, I would stick to a polymer that is specifically designed for a gel coat for best results.

Notice all the boats in the ad are gofasts. Hi dollar rigs like that are usually trailered and stay under cover and sometimes in a garage during the week. Any wax would last a year in those ideal conditions.
EDIT ADD:
Google "waterless polish cleaner" (no quotes) and you will find over 100,000 of the rascals.
It would be interesting to see just how many manufacturers there are rebranding the stuff!

yea, I got this from a go fast site. they talk about yellowing and stuff which I have no clue about but anyways on a different forum which I dont know if I am alloed to mention there is 11 pages of posts so like I said it seems to be all the rave with these guys so I wanted to pass it along and let you guys do your own research. I have not used the product.

One of the guys at our marina with a go fast has used it and it is holding up beautifully. The boat is outdoors and uncovered.

Finally received my shipment on Monday, had a chance to use it yesterday. If you lean to the definition of true "polish" having some abrasive action to cut & shine, this has none. I would say it is more a sealant than a polish. On that note it left an incredible shine and great reflective characteristics. Note: I cleaned and waxed the surface before applying leverage. Whether it holds up over time remains to be seen - next post will be Spring 2008!
