As I understand this. There are ruins of Hiram Walkers estate on this island. The Candian Club owner. Can we get in there with our dingy. Google earth shows pictures of a passage way under a very old bridge. We will be spending the night next summer at LakeView Park Marina and would like to explore.

Thanks for the info. Everything I can get my hands on helps. I have been in touch with the Hiram Walker estate and they are e-mailing photos and info on the island. Our game plan is to tour the island, getting there by dingy from LakeView Park Marina. We have a tour set up to go through the destillary and Hiram's
office in July. Lots of history fron Capone to Ford. We will also tour the church that used to light its cross to indicate a load of liquor was safe to deliver by boat.
