I've a pocket door that doesn't glide easy anymore and I'm little confused on the adjusting process. 86 Viking 41' sportfish where the door has 4 sliders in a track with each slider having a bolt from the track slider into the top of the door. Each bolt has 2 7/16 nuts to adjust with about a 1/4" between them. I suspect the top nut is a locking nut with the bottom being an adjustment nut. Does the adjusting nut go right to left so as to adjust downward to actually pull the door up?
There is no space to lift the door enough to put a slim 7/16" wrench on the nut nor lift the door out of the bottom track. The door is quite heavy and I don't want to rack white grease into the salon as I just laid all new carpet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
