I'm just starting the project of polishing the hull sides. I wanted to mist the surface to get the correct consistancy of material, but I didn't have a spray bottle.
(boat is on the hard now)
The hose wasn't nearby, so it occurred to me that I have all these sink drain through-hulls that on the side of the hull.
I turned the faucets on to a very small stream, and went back to the polishing. When I needed a little water, all I had to do was make a swipe under the through-hull. A barely-noticeable stream ended up being a perfect amount of water to keep the compounds from drying or caking, and I never had to break stride to do it.
I thought that might help some people...
