i am replacing the rubber in my windshield
frame----actually just putting the old rubber back in after having frames powdercoated.
The powder coat is awesome...worth every penny
and every minute of labor.
question is: what is the best thing to put on
the channel rubber before putting it back in.
looking for something to help keep it soft and supple ---i was thinking about light silicone
grease/oil or ???
and: should i put some kind of sealant in/around/or anywhere near.
just to clear up: these are the windsheild frame channels that that hold the rubber channels that hold the glass...(not sure that made it any more clear...[:-boggled])
