Seaside Park

Planning a trip down to Seaside Park to visit friends. Looks like in through Manasquan and through Point Pleasant canal. Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

Stay in the channel!

Manasquan inlet can be rough, stay alert and use power.

Point pleasant canal can run fast. I never worried about it but others say to go at slack tide.

And as Mike says...stay in the channel through Barneget Bay.

We went this past Sunday to Tuesday. No issues. Manasquan was a little sporty yesterday afternoon. No traffic in the canal so it was fine.

Stayed at Seaside Park Marina. Clean bathrooms and showers. No really close to anything but we were there to visit with friends.
