I took a last ride yesterday and dropped off the boat to be hauled this morning.

It was real windy last night and I had a hard time even leaving the dock. This is a depressing time of year for me!

Wow say it ain't so. The good news is I get to plug into your electric meter for the next 7 weeks.

Give hiking a shot. Being on a trail on a cool fall morning is awesome,
Backpacking overnight even better!! Then comes downhill & cross country
skiing, snowmobiling, sleigh riding, ice fishing and before you know it
you'll be waxing your boat again!!

Go with the seasons. Theres so much to do in each one. We are lucky to
live where we do!!

I tend to hibernate in the winter!

Hank you can use my power if you pay my bill:) I usually take a picture of the meter I should stop by and do that.

I saw you go by yesterday. You're missing a gorgeous day today!

I have completed my winterizing I'm ready for shrink wrap at this point. I have to decide if I'm going to do my waste lines now or in the spring but this is all that is left at this point. I do have a few other projects I'm thinking about I will have to make a game plan.

For those of you still in I hope you enjoy what time you have left and make the most of it.

Yes Hogan I know today seemed like at real nice day to be on the water! I spent most of the day on board hanging in the slings so I was rocking a little so I felt like I was on the water. I got a lot done today I don't think I have every done everything in one day before but I guess after doing it a few times it gets easier.

We took a boat ride over to The Boathouse in Ossining for dinner. Had another great meal and nice ride.

Winterized the little boat and got the patio stuff swapped with the snow stuff from the shed. Damit. Season's over. We used the deck exactly ... zero ... times this year.

You didn't but the squirrels enjoyed it:) Well maybe for a little while anyway.

I'm still in the sling I will be blocked tomorrow I have a few little things left to do. I want to bring home the canvas and wash it then seal it again I hate the mildew. Being I don't have a mooring cover I have to wait until I can shrink wrapped to remove the canvas. I will also remove the carpet for inside the cabin and ready the floors for the waste line job, whenever I do it I want to be prepared. I still have some gin on board I may need it to deal with this project.

Took the little boat over to the Hudson Water Club for dinner. Good food, warm weather, nice ride there and back. Staying on Hogan again tonight.

Dude if you actually take a picture of you meter you need to go talk to somebody about that? I'm speaking of a checkup from the neck up.

Why would that sound strange to you. I plan on doing the same thing. We pay for our electricity. Our Marin's is heavily visited by transients and people coming in for in water winter storage. It certainly is conceivable that somebody could put their boat into the your slip for a couple weeks and run you bill up by $100.

If I go away for for several days the marina has the right to rent my slip not the they have but they can. When I launched the boat I log the reading. If I traveled a log what it was when I left I'm curious to see if the meter changes over the winter. with no one in my slip.

It's not like the old days where I have to develop film I just use my cellphone.

But you may be right I may be crazy:)

Especially with unscrupulous characters in the slips around him who have half the electric bill every month. :)
