Tried to do a search for info on Sea View Marina on Fire Island with limited success other than a number and application for dock space. Was thinking of going for Columbus day weekend. Anyone have any ins or outs for the place. Thanks
Al

Seaview is a private marina good location but no facilities. I've stayed there more than once and other than being pricey no complaints.

Been there a couple times as well, very pricey, but a great location. They also have a lot of rules, check their rules to make sure you are good with them. I like the place!!!

Stayed there 2 weeks ago. Good place, close to ocean beach restaurants. Pricey but I think they offer reduced rates after September.

Enjoy!

Staying there for the first time this weekend. Used the Dockwa app at first and got denied due to no space, but a few days later the dockmaster called saying they had a slip for me so we arranged everything over the phone. Looking forward to our stay.

Thanks for the replies making reservations. Winterbreak let us know how it was, enjoy and thanks

I forgot, this time of the year and early in the season they have great rates. Once you get into holidays and the prime time, they are very pricey.

Booked to be there Columbus day Weekend. Wanted to go there tomorrow, they have space, but the kids are away and I have kittens we are fostering as well as 2 little dogs, so I am out for an overnight :(

Great Experience this weekend at Seaview! The entrance is tight and 90 degree left hand turn is a nice test of ones skills, but the dockmaster is great! Slips are protected by a bulkhead so barely any wave motions. Very family friendly and the seasonals were very welcoming to us spending the night. Will definitely make it our usual fire island spot. Beach is down the block, and a short walk to ocean beach... perfect

Glad it all worked out, it is an awesome location, I do get the tightness pulling in, I pulled in ,first time with my 45c , was new to the boat and was a bit intimidated, LOL

I went past there Saturday, not that I go that direction a lot, but I don't remember ever seeing so many boats at the Seaview marina. I was wondering if some of the people who would normally be doing late season Watch Hill trips were there. I'll have to check it out sometime. Ended up at Atlantique for the evening and took a water taxi over to Ocean Beach. Didn't realize they had regularly scheduled service going back and forth. Normally we walk but it was getting chilly so the heated water taxi was a nice option :)

John,
This time of the year, there slips are deeply discounted. During peak season, the prices are insane!!! I am booked for Columbus Day weekend. Come join us or come on my boat!

Walter, when are you guys heading over there? Depending on fishing plans and the weather may try to meet up with you.
