I'm neck deep in my 1972 21 foot stamas CC project. I got the boat for almost nothing... I am trying to make it a very presentable fishing boat, but not looking to spend a fortune. I am ordering a white bed liner kit from liner xtreeme. for the floors inside of the hull and surfaces to the rub rail.

I want to remaint from the rub rail down to the bottom paint.

I have a body shop where I will spray the boat, I want a one part paint that will last a very lond time. I am going to use white, what paint do you recomend and how much will be needed, I estimated about 5 quarts is that about right?

I am using a da with 220 to smoot the existing paint, this ok?

Bottom paint is think on the boat... I am going to keep her trailered so I am no concerned with fouling, but I want her to look better. What do you guys recomend, and how much?

Last question, boat has some ugly aluminum rub rail around it, I'd like to replace it with some that looks good, but very cheap, plastic is fine any ideas?

I will have many more questions, but will post photos of my progress!
