I have white stains on the dark blue counter tops in my Carver that I cannot polish them out. The stains go into the formica(or whatever it is). Any thoughts on how to polish them out?

If you polish enough you will polish the finish/color/pattern off the laminate. It's not very thick; so be careful. It's possible that's what caused the "stain" in the first place.
I've seen Old English polish work wonders on old laminate; but if the color is actually gone I think you're out of luck.
