Starting out right with a new boat

I'm picking up a little Boston Whaler in a couple of weeks. The dealer is painting the bottom for me. What do you recommend that I use to protect the in- and outside of the boat?

if your keeping it uncovered just keep it waxed. A good cleaner/wax does a nice job during the season.
