Lows in the 30s throughout NorCal Delta Region! But sunny during the day. Not bad if you can get out of the wind!

Yep, that's about where I am - just over the NorCal border. I've been away from New England too long - it was barely 30 degrees, seawater wasn't even freezing on the boat yet and I was cold. Yet later that same day, I was outside in a t-shirt and still sweating. New England weather swings have NOTHING on southern Oregon/northern California.

One thought that stuck in my mind from that long night - why do people greatly understate how much their boat displaces when I'm coming to tow them? I'm coming anyways, but it would be nice to have an accurate idea. There is an ENORMOUS difference between 100 tons and 150+ tons, and it doesn't take too much experience to feel the difference.

I played golf in shorts this morning. Also played in shorts last Saturday.

I took this on 1/13. You can see how calm the Bay was in the background. No wind at all. Only problem is that we had a cold spell. Barely made 50.
