I have a 1998 Regal 402 Commodore with a transom shower. The shower is not working. Does anyone have a few things to share that may explain the problem? The valve moves freely and the hose and all of the lines seem to be connected.

Is it getting water?
Pull the hose off the back of it.
Maybe just clogged.
Have to work backwards from the shower because all it needs is water.

Obviously make sure you are either on city water or fresh water pump with water in tank!
 
Yep, probably a clogged screen in the head
 
I just had the same problem it turned out to be a kink in the hose. Every time we use them it seems we somehow twist the hose a little as we put it back over time it twisted enough to kink the hose. If you have access from behind it disconnect the hose from the head and drop it thru the hole and untwist it there is a good chance that is all it is assuming you already check the screen.

Thanks for the suggestions. The screen in the hose head is clean (I can easily blow through it). There is water in the tank (and the pump is on). There does not appear to be any kinks in the hose. I have not unscrewed the collar around the valve or the hose in the back yet. Next step.
 
Can you see the entire hose or is it buried behind a panel with limited access and view?
I was convinced it was going to be a clog on mine but as I stated it was simply a twisted hose. It was twist close to the connection to the valve so I really couldn't see it until I disconnected it and dropped it into the access in my case I had access from garage so it wasn't bad. You may have to remove the entire shower box to gain access and likely if you do you will quickly find the problem.

That's what I think. Just because a pump is running, doesn't mean it is pumping.

Pump is supplying water to all other faucets and shower so I don't think it is that unless there is something in there that I am not aware of.
