Last year I sanded my aluminum drives down to the original epoxy finish and then coated them with trilux 33 which is an ablative. This worked well, so I am doing the same this year, except that after snading them down again, I coated them with Primocon primer berore applying the Trilux 33.
The Primocon is supposed to inhibit deterioration of the aluminum through corrosion. Since I applied this to a mostely painted surface, do you think that I will see any benefit from the primer, or did I just waste a bunch of time and money and just recoated with Trilux?
