VC17 Paint

Will paint lose effectiveness if I were to paint bottom for the winter, shrinked wrapped outside? Northeast Ohio.

My guess is that if it sits that long you will either have to sand some off, or put another coat on top. But I have no experience with vc17, so just a guess. In general ablative paints can sit dry indefinitely, while ‘hard’ paints have a limited life on the hard. Vc17 is not an ablative paint.

My suggestion is that you contact the vendor. For some reason paint vendors seem to be very good about responding to questions, at least the ones I have contacted.
