I understand that this one of the greatest challenges in all of boating-sort of a climb to Everest's summit with all of the risks and few of the rewards. That said I am still going to try to do the job. I have changed impellers on Crusader 502s and I am aware there is no comparison. That said, do I need any unusual tools like Jabsco's puller? I suppose first I must figure out which pumps I have model and serial #. Plastic or metal etc. Maybe a board placed across the open hatchway would help. I could lie on it and reach down while doing some of the work-I have very long arms. What goes with that is a 6'4" frame that makes bilge work very difficult. If I figure out what pumps I have and their serial and model #s does Les have the kits. Any encouraging and helpful info would be greatly appreciated!
