2757 waste tank location

Need some help here. I 'think' I have searched everywhere but can't seeem to find the location of my waste tank. Recently, I learned, the hard way, there is no sensor or alarm to alert me to my holding tank being full.

Once pumped out all seems to be fine with the plumbing but I thought it might worthwhile to add a sensor to the tank...if I could find it.

All help and/or comments are appreciated.
 
Can you tell me whcih toilet you have? Is it a Sea Land mounted on a large pedestal with a foot pedal to flush?
 
Can see Sea Land but your description sounds accurate. There is a manual level you pull up to add a little water and push down to flush
 
That's the same toilet I had in my boat. The holding tank is actually the "pedestal" that the toilet sits on. It's 9 gallons and fills up rather quickly. Plus, when you flush, you have a 4" hole directly into the tank. I removed mine and replaced it with a standard manual flush toilet and put a tank in the engine room.
 
Tanks for the info. I know bad pun. I thought since I couldn't find it anywhere else that might be the case. Any recommendations on tanks brand or size? Could I just add a tank to the exisiting system?

I expect this is not a simple change? How did you manage to cover the opening once the tank was removed?

I am almost 'finished' with my new baby. Just waiting for my electronics guys schedule to open up so I can add my new radar but if this is something would make the boat more comfortable for weekend trips I might have to add it the list.
 
I have the same head on my 2757 there is a macerator pump to pump from the seat tank to the waste tank located in the engine compartment. It works well for us i believe the waste tank is20-25 gal
 
The extra tank was an option and most boats don't have it. There are just two brackets with 4 screws that hold the current head down. I put in an ITT Jabsco and an aftermarket 18gallon tank in on the stbd side next to the fuel tank and in front of the battery (I had to move the battery slightly). I used the existing pumpout hose and ran that to the tank, and ran a new hose from the dip tube up to the (idiodically placed) pumpout fitting. I also used the existing vent hose, but ran it from the vent to the tank instead into the head by the toilet.One other thing...you'll need to add a water supply...either a thru hull pickup or tap into the NON PRESSURIZED side of the water system(recommended for lack of odor).
