3M compounds or Buff Magic???

I've never used NuFinish, always Mequiars wax on the cars, I am blown away by NXT. Just as impressed with Pro Polish vs 3m Wax.
 
Really? How so? They seem like the same formula to me. I think Nu Finish is slightly off-white and PP is pure white, but I haven't noticed other differences. (but I haven't done a side-by-side comparison)
