A new season has begun

Dave needs to re-size his pictures so that they stop screwing up the thread.

I saw Bob polishing his boat he said hopes to be in Friday.

I have tried everything I can't seem to get my picture to resize it says it's resizing and it shows me a smaller picture but it doesn't save it that way.

Well that was a major PITA I had to reboot my computer to get photobucket to resize and then for some reason lately photobuck has been adding their URL to every link which messed things up as well.

Noticed other people have the same issue on other posts. Doing it from the I pad or I phone is very easy.

It seems I now have to delete a line from the link to remove the URL from being automatically added. PITA

Use the link that is for direct instead. Just insert
after the link.

I spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11 hours each day prepping the boat. I wheeled it out with buff magic and then hand applied Rejex, however I still need to tackle the aft which can be done in the water. The props and zincs will be put on this week for a Friday launch and then I will head over to our new Marina and spend the weekend on the boat. Looking forward to getting her in!

Bob,
Be aware, there is no service dock when they put you in, you have to be there, launch and go right out of the sling.

This is true make sure you are ready when you launch!

Wayne when are you going in? There seems to be a few floats missing from your finger, several of us have told the office you may want to as well because I don't think you will be happy with it the way it is. The floats missing should be close to the main and as a result the main is dipping and causing a bolt to protrude. I just don't want anyone to get hurt.

Dave,
Thank You very much, I'm going in this Sat. I'm not sure what your talking about floats, but I will take a look this week.

The storm took out some of the floats that the docks sit on causing the dock to list. Needs to be fixed and is much easier when there are no boats attached to it. I would recommend requetsing them to get it done before you splash. You see Wayne....when you come into deep water marinas the floats dont bottom out causing the appearance a sturdy walkway.

You mean you actually need docks that FLOAT?

Last year my dock didn't float either.

This year it's a floating dock.

Wayne,
The service dock is in, however there is no gangway to walk down on, hence I will need to be on the boat while going in. I will be kept in the sling in the water and ensure everything is working correctly and will then depart. Looking forward to a new season.

Thank Allen,
See you all this weekend.

Just heard from HM, request to fix the missing floats on the end of blue dock was made, they will get to it soon. Always responsive!! How many business will email you back in 10-15 minutes at 10:30 PM!!! Love this place.

Bob the service dock has been in for weeks but unless you are good at the long jump you will need to be on board and leave right from the slings like the rest of us have been doing. Some have had a little difficulties so it's best if you have a crew on board as well. I have heard that headway is being made there and things should start to come together soon.

Wayne we will all be happier if they fix your dock. Just so you know Allen is two slips to your port and Hank shares a finger with me so we are all aware of the problem I'm just hoping they get to it before you get in. This week would be good being my boat is across the river for the next few days leaving the area completely accessible.
