Anchor Rode chain splice

I need to redo my anchor rode to chain splice as it is very worn. I have an 8 strand windless anchor rode and the splice must pass thru the windless so I need to have a clean splice.Does anybody have a diagram or link to a web site that may show how to do this?

Just Google "line to chain splice" and look for Samson Rope dot com. They have a PDF file showing you how to do it.

Suggest that you go to the yale cordage web site and look under splicing instructions.

They give you clear diagrams.
