I am getting calls on my membership hotline from current and past members of the OYC and other marinas inquiring about my club, the LIYC. But I end up reversing the inquiry. A couple of years ago, I took a quick tour of the OYC and decided to stay where I was. But yesterday I was told that a 33' was costing this guy $4500, including winter storage. I did not want to press him on electric, water, cable. (I am still the Dock and Membership chairman at my club) But I was very interested to know if that was included.
As some of you know I inquired about the Anchorage, and still may be interested, but I am looking for something similar to my club but le$$ expensive. From what I remember the OYC was a bit less of a working Marina than the Anchorage and has a small pool and some other amenities. Also, closer to Watch Hill!!
Does any one have more information first hand, I know I could call the OYC office, but I trust our RO's.
