Anyone near Lindenhurst NY?

Don-the boat is a 1971 31 or 32 (I think its a 32' but ad says 31') Pacemaker. It is on the hard at the owners property. Her husband had a marine service business. If you could run by and take a look that would be great. If you want to PM me your phone number I can call with more details. Jim
Louis-thanks I spoke to Don and he may even look at the boat today, he is very close.
Ron-I thought it might be a 32' because of the enclosed lower helm. I suppose someone could have added those doors. How do you like your boat? Any feedback would be great, thanks Jim.

Jim....... Here are some photos of the Pacemaker I took for you.
From what is visible.....it looks like a well maintained solid old boat. She just had it pulled yesterday.....if we were a few days earlier.....I could have taken a sea trial.

Jim, I'm happy with mine. A good all around family cruiser and not too expensive to buy or maintain. Not too fast either, mind you, since the hull is thick and heavy. But a good solid boat. Easy to handle/dock - you've got a good keel and hard chines there and the engine spacing is wide, so it'll do what you want it to in most any conditions. Mine's been repowered, not sure if this one has been (looks like the old style Crusader risers) so obviously the engines would bear close inspection. The other thing about Pacemakers is, (maybe you know this) the windows. The only question is whether they leak now, or whether they leaked in the past and got fixed and how much water damage happened at that time. That they never leaked is simply not possible - it's a Pacemaker. Just one of those things they are known for. You'd want to look for softness in the foredeck or catwalks since those are wood cored. Really any wood near the windows you want to look closely at, and visiting the boat on a rainy day is definitely a good idea.
On mine the stringers are well encased in glass and solid - as long as this one didn't sit full of water, I'd expect the same. No wood coring below the waterline so it's likely the hull is solid.
The photos look clean. There's a ton of gelcoat on these so you'd be able to shine it up nice.
