Has anyone used any of their products? I am especially interested in the VS 721 Bottom Wax as an alternative to bottom paint.
Thanks

Greg

Greg, I swear by their non-skid clean/wax system and their boat clean products.......I tried their bottom wax on my center console tender (which sits in fresh water all season)and while it helped, I don't think it is good substitute for bottom paint (but then again I didn't bottom paint it as I don't like the way it looks out of the water)

Here's a ditto for the Boat Clean/Boat Scrub/Sure Step system. I've used it for years with great results. I've tried many other products like Woody Wax - imo there's no comparison. I also like their instant boat spray wax. It removes the black streaks that run down the sides of the hull after a rain easily. I wish George would carry it. I've posted this comment before.

I usually order their products directly from the Auroa website.

I have never used the products, but a lot of people say they are good. I have been reading on their website about their products and they sound good. I have found so many brands that say they are the best and I don't know which one to go with.

Good Stuff. Be aware that the Sure Step will not render a shine as glossy as wax, but stepping on the deck treated with the stuff is like having suction cups on you Topsiders.

Just today I ordered Sure Step, Boat Scrub, Boat Clean Plus and Kwik Shine. The latter one is the only one of those I haven't used before, but some friends have used it and love it. I intend to do the Sure Step again first thing this Spring.

What do you need to get. Wash, wax, and sure step. Is that the system?

dritter,

While the Boat Clean and Boat Scrub are stand alone products on their own, I use them as part of my annual treatment of my non-skid surfaces, ie, bow and swim platform. I clean the surfaces with the Boat Clean then I use Boat Scrub. Once dry I follow with two coats of the Sure Step, 24 hours apart. BTW, that's Aurora's recommendation. I never use the Kwik Shine on the non-skid, but it does a great job on the interior fiberglass as well as getting rid of the dark streaks that seem to show up whenever it rains.

Exactly as LenB described it.

Well, the only product of theirs that I've used is the Algex. Without a doubt one of the best boating related products I've ever used.

Since they are made right here in Toronto I have used them for over 20 years.

I knew it! I guess not only Canadian boats are better, but boat cleaning products too.

Not at all Enesto. The guy started the company in his garage many years ago as a one man show selling at the boat shows and to local marinas. The US market is relatively recent for them.

I've got a Canadian boat Gary, I believe what I wish to believe.
