Has anyone use Aurora products to clean and polish their boat? I checked the web site: Auroramarine.com, and it seems like good stuff and will last a long time. I would like to get some feedback from anyone who has used the stuff.

Ernesto has been using a variety of Aurora products this week. Seems like he has mixed feelings about some of it. He can explain it better.

Yo, Ernesto!?

Love the Boat Scrub, won't leave the dock without it. Also, love the Sure Step, great way to keep non-skid clean and bright. I hear the Kwik Shine is good but haven't used it.

The Premium Boat Shine, however, didn't work out for me as I expected. After I apply it, the boat won't let go of it, no matter how much time I leave it on or how quickly I remove it. So actually after the Boat Scrub the boat was much shinnier than after I did the Boat Shine which made it a bit duller again and left some streaking. Even a buffer wouldn't do the job of taking it off! Actually it worked fairly well below the rub rail, but not above... I have no idea why. Tried it in different temperatures and in the shade.

I used them last year and Ernesto is spot on with his observations. The boat shine will not give you the shine of say Collonite. It's more of a gloss than a deep deep showroom shine. However, with the boat scrub diluted at a 1:15 (scrub:water) ratio, it cleans up in a snap. I spent less time cleaning and more time on the water, so to me it's a compromise I am willing to make.

Boat Scrub and apply Sure step, they are great, any other product I tried their three step and the spray cleaner that comes with it is not worth it.

I just purchase two kits of the BoatScrub/BoatClean/SureStep and a third SureStep for my 3672 Express. I've used the stuff for years on my 3375 Express with great results. As for the Kwik Shine, I also use that. I don't use it to "wax" the boat, I use it to remove the black streaks that appear on the sides of the boat after a rain. It's the best and easiest product I've come across for that job. I also use the Kwik Shine on the fiberglass in the cockpit. Easy on/easy off.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll clean the boat with the boat scrub and then wax with Collinite or Meguiars. I'll use the sure step on the non-skid.

Hmmm, I've been using Boat Shine for about 5 - 6 years now, and find nothing easier. I have no problems buffing it off the boat after it dries. Just a simple clean cotton towel takes it off by hand. Now if I put to much on, and it is thick in spots, that takes a little elbow grease, but if you put it on thinly, it is the best. I have used no wax that competes for shine and longevity.

I've used sure step, quick shine, boat scrub, waterline stain remover, boat shine and VS 721 bottom wax.

All the products performed extremely well. In my case, I applied two coats of boat shine. The second coat went on and came off easier than the first, and left a much higher gloss.
