I can't seem to find the BE search function that used to be at the bottom of pages. Is it still there and I'm not seeing it (I've tinkered with some of my cookie and other settings, so maybe it's my own doing)?

Thanks for your help.

I don't see it either, however the "old" search engine is still available:

Use the pull down menus

RO menu -> Subscriber section, << log in >> click to continue, select search...

( Note works best when you select keyword, forum, time frame )

looks like it is gone, but the other way to do it is to go to Google. Choose advanced settings to make search only look at boatered domain

That won't work for me. It won't let me login with my current user ID and PW in the Subscribers Section??!! I can log in to the BoaterEd site just fine. What gives?

type this into Google search

"[your search phrase] site:www.boatered.com"

The issue with Radioactives process is that the search is only overt the last year. I have found helpful info that is greater than a year old. We should try to figure out what happened to the old search function, instead of working around it IMO.

The "old" search is only available to those with an anchor... ( It is handy, but flawed. Don't feel seriously left out if you do not have an anchor. )

getakey's method of using Google with the site restriction is identical to the google search that was at the bottom of the page. ( and obviously works exactly the same way... )

Thanks, all. I'm tracking Getakey's method, which seems to work just fine. I'm much obliged.

The search in the subscriber's section works just fine - I use it all the time. While it says just the past year, it goes back six or seven years. But yes, it's in the subscriber's section which means you need to be a subscriber to use it.
