Sorry Don...Banks do not know boats. They have guide books and tables with no practical field experience. I don't have a lot of faith in banks.

Mike..........If a " Bank " is lending me $100K 's to buy a boat........ they QUALIFY in my book.

Ok Don. We'll leave it alone...we have different opinions on banks.
 
How is this more acceptable than the "Chase Boats Needed" thread which has been questioned/ and or deleted? Both are boating related, neither call for donations, and in fact, the boat chase event offers to pay for participants' costs. Financial services? Canvas? Sea Tow? Where is the line drawn? Raft-ups are posted, get-togethers, etc. Pretty much the same thing with the Balloon Event, but with no commercial advertising as is the case here.

VERY ACCEPTABLE IN MY BOOK....

But I do agree that the canvas guy, seatow and the bank guy will just distract us from the important things. But IMO, this is the price you pay for free entertainment.

Don: Dave is no longer allowed to give classes unless it has something to do with non-boating related directions.

Walter: Have no fear that I'll take you up on your offer! BTW, is Riley spayed? No kidding, Gypsy is going through a "false" pregnancy, according to my vet. I've never heard of such a thing, but Riley is the only male dog she's been near, well, except for Gizmo and Dave never let him out of his sight, so...........?
