'Boating' through your posts

I'm home! The surgery was yesterday and I feel remakably well for someone who's had his neck opened and bones screwed together. My two fears had been a permanent change in my voice because my vocal cords were squished and pushed aside and problems with swallowing because my asophogus was alsoo moved. Thankfully, neither problem developed. Now it's three weeks with no driving or physical activity and then another three weeks of limited activity. No boating until sometime is August. Since that's really close to the end of the season, we're not going to launch - the cost is too high for the short amount of time left. We'll do some boating with our daughter and son-in-law and with our other daughter-in-law's parents. Each of them have large boats so I will get at least a few daytrips on the water in August. Stay safe, my friends, and thanks for your thoughts and prayers. They seem to have worked. Hy

Hy, best wishes for a speedy continued recovery.
It sounds like the surgery went well just don't push it!
