First off, thanks to all of you Long Islanders for making a Hudson River Rat feel at home.
Left Piermont late morning Saturday (7/1) and got to Zach's Bay at about 2pm. Rafted up with new friends from Wantagh YC. (You are the best!).
A friend of mine had chartered a 55' out of Brielle and steamed into the bay just before the concert. We went over and they had the concert simulcast on satellite. Great time!. We could hear the roar of the crowd live first, and then over the satellite.
Weathered a brief storm on Sunday and made it back to Piermont on Monday afternoon.
A really nice trip. I could almost be converted to an LICC'er.....
